And if your name is Ruth Ann and you happen to be Kenneth's youngest sister, Happy Birthday.
Posting has been sporadic at best.
Because life has been chaotic to say the least.
Let's just say that I almost miss those days way back when, when I ranted about poop all over the walls.... (never thought I would say that).
Good news, though! My Valentine gift to myself: A brand spankin' new therapist! Happy Day!
We did manage to throw a lovely Valentine Tea. It was Eden's idea, naturally, and everyone was very proper (as indicated by Georgia's rehearsal of the pinky-lifing ritual before the actual tea began).
Eden invited friends to the tea, but they are not pictured.
Oakley joined us for cookie decorating and eating, but quickly vacated the premises in favor of the Wii. Who can blame him, poor chap. (speaking of poor chap.... Michael Crowley... oh, how my my Downton Abby heart aches for Lady Mary and the one true Downton heir, poor baby.)
I allow these cookies (product Cookie Monster's Famous Cookie dough) to be made once a year, for they are truly tempting and I never eat less than 8 of them at once.
As this is the day of love, I declare my everlasting love for my life and how it shapes me.
This is what Kenneth made us for breakfast. Thank you, my one true love.
Our Family Valentine's Celebration planned for this evening is shaping up to be very fondue-ish. You're totally jealous. I can tell.

I AM jealous. I shoved a store bought valentine into my kids' hands with a hug as they went out the door. Jeremy did get me flowers and a whole box of York peppermint patties, but we don't do anything so fancy as tea. . . or heart shaped toast! And yes, I've been missing your blog. : )
sorry things are so hectic for you :/. i really wish with all my heart that we lived near each other so we could mind each others children. .. and also so we could gab and gab our faces off. i love egg in toast! go K.
I love the idea of a Valentine's tea! Ernie and I are not big into Valentine's Day, so it is really a kids holiday at our house. On a side note- where did you get your silverware (pictures in the last pic with the heart egg in toast). I've been looking for just that pattern.
