Which is why I love our winter picnics so. Though winter days are seemingly monochromatic and dull, an hour or two spend in the winter woods becomes a peaceful, soothing retreat full of subtle color and soft light.
If we ever build a house by the river, palate #1 would be a serious contender for what I would surround myself with in our home.
