Throwing messes. Creating messes. School messes. Playing with friends messes. Field trip messes. Holiday messes. Crafting messes Organizing messes. Learning how to bathe yourself messes. Puking messes. Road trip messes. Getting ready for church on Sunday messes. Poop accident messes. Paper messes. Crayon messes. Fighting messes. Stacking messes. Shopping messes. Tromping messes. 2. I don't know anything else for sure about parenting. Just that there will be messes. And that it is silly to get upset by messes. And that if you teach your kids to clean up the messes things will always get worse before they get better. And that if there are no messes, it's very likely that your children and watching way too much tv.
3. I would have posted this yesterday, when it was actually Thursday, but I fell asleep while I was tucking Eden in at 8:30pm. All tuckered out, I suppose, from cleaning up so many messes.

It is 2:19, just got home from 2 basketball games, an orchestra rehearsal and a choir performance...and have yet to clean up every mess and more than you listed before my mom arrives for a visit in 1 hour. I'm going to have her read this entry to make it all ok. Oy vey.
